ABSTRACT
Maintenance optimization is crucial in industrial systems to ensure reliability and reduce unexpected failures. This work develops a finite-horizon maintenance policy for a single-component system under multiple operational constraints. Circularity is considered via remanufactured replacements, availability constraints ensure decisions respect stock levels, and customer constraints are modeled through time-dependent costs. The approach integrates these aspects in a unified dynamic programming framework, determining optimal actions including component type and maintenance timing. The originality lies in combining multiple constraint types in a single model and translating a practical industrial problem into an implementable policy. Simulation results are also presented to illustrate the model's performance and enable sensitivity analysis with respect to key parameters.
